New to Reselling? Here Is Your First Week
A simple first-week plan for brand-new resellers: what to list, how to price, and where to go deep once you have your first sale.
If you are brand new, the goal of week one is not profit. It is your first sale. Getting one item photographed, listed, sold, and shipped teaches you more than a month of reading, because it forces you through every step once.
Here is a plan that gets you there.
Days one and two: list what you already own
Do not buy anything yet. Walk through your house and find ten things you no longer use that are worth more than a few dollars. Clothing with a brand, small electronics, tools, media, kitchen gadgets. You are learning the mechanics on items that cost you nothing.
Days three and four: photograph and list
Good daylight, a clean background, and honest photos of any flaws. Write a title with the words a buyer would actually type: brand, item, size, color. List all ten. Price them by checking what the same thing has recently sold for, not what other people are asking.
Days five through seven: ship and learn
When something sells, weigh it, buy the label through the platform, and get it in the mail quickly. That is the whole loop. Once you have done it once, you understand the business in a way no guide can give you.
Where to go from here
Week one is the free part, and it is enough to prove to yourself that this works. The full system, sourcing the right inventory on purpose, pricing for profit, and scaling past your closet, is what we teach step by step inside The Income Lab. Start with your first sale this week, then come learn how to make it repeatable.
